Svetlana (Lana) Yurovskiy, DDS
A graduate of the University of Buffalo undergrad program and the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Yurovskiy completed her residency program at Rochester General Hospital. Her post-residency time was spent working in Canandaigua practice and at the Hill Haven Nursing Home in Webster as well as working as an attending at Rochester General Hospital.
Dr. Yurovskiy seizes every opportunity to participate in the Dental clubs of Rochester and focuses on continuing education courses to be able to provide the latest treatment options for her patients. She also believes in the value of giving back to her community and volunteers for the Supply A Smile program.
Jason Gunther, DDS
Born and raised in Greece, New York, Dr. Jason Gunther completed his General Practice Residency at Rochester General Hospital. He was drawn to dentistry for its unique blend of hand skills, science, art, and humanity. As a dentist, Dr. Gunther strives to create a peaceful, non-judgmental, and friendly environment where patients feel in control. He believes that everyone deserves a confident smile as it significantly impacts self-esteem, social life, and professional life. Dr. Gunther actively participates in continuing education, reads the latest journals, and engages with colleagues to discuss new ideas.
He values treating patients with the same respect and care he would want for himself, guided by the Golden Rule. In his free time, Dr. Gunther enjoys running, playing guitar, kayaking, golfing, and volleyball. He resides in North Greece with his fiancé, Maura.

Mary Broderick
Patient Service Coordinator/ AdministrationMary has been a patient services coordinator at this practice for more than 25 years.
She is usually the first voice you will hear when you canll the office. She warmly greets potential new patients and existing patients as well. Mary is happy to schedule appointments and help with any of your insurance questions.
Mary was born in Canandaigua, and still resides in the town with her husband, Michael. They have three lovely daughters, two amazing son-in-laws and three beautiful grandchildren.
Mary is a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church, enjoys volunteering at Canandaigua Churches in Action Dental Clinic and Light Hill Comfort Care Home.
Patricia Wyffels-Campbell
Treatment Plan CoordinatorPatti joined the practice in 1991 as a dental assistant. As time went on, Patti expanded her duties to the front desk, and is now our treatment plan coordinator for Lux Dental.
She strives to make sure every patient is warmly welcomed, treated like family and completely comfortable with their dental visit. Patti feels that over the years, our patients have become friends, not just patients.
Patti was born and raised on her family farm in Canandaigua, and is now raising her two girls, Rylee and Jillian with her husband on the homestead.
Patti enjoys supporting her girls in their extracurricular activities and camping all summer long with the family and their two dogs, Lola and Roxy.
Laurie Boldt
Registered Dental HygienistLaurie began her dental career as an assistant and furthered her education from Monroe Community College where she received her Associates Degree in dental hygiene. She brings more than 15 years of dental experience to our practice.
Laurie and her husband, Jeremy, live in Clifton Springs. She enjoys watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Melissa Woolley
Office ManagerMelissa joined our team in 2003 as an assistant. Over the years, her role has grown, and she now serves as our office manager. She holds a business degree from SUNY Oswego and brings dedication and experience to our practice.
Melissa lives in Canandaigua with her husband, Travis, and their children, Michaela and Brayden. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, caring for their farm animals, gardening, and helping out at the family winery.
Martha McIntyre
Registered Dental HygienistMartha has been practicing dental hygiene for over 40 years. She earned her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Monroe Community College. She and her husband have 4 children and now have 10 grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoors, skiing being her biggest passion and is a member of the National Ski Patrol. She also enjoys kayaking, bicycling, motorcycling and gardening.
Christy Kuhn
HygienistChristy is a graduate from Broome Community College in Binghamton, New York. She has been practicing hygiene for over a decade, both in private office as well as public health. Her passion to continue learning and educating herself and her patients provides a positive experience of care and compassion. Christy enjoys spending family time in the Finger Lakes with her husband and two boys.
Lori Pagorek
Dental AssistantLori has been a dental assistant for 16 years. She’s married and a proud grandma to five grandsons. Her hobbies include singing, hunting, fishing, gardening, canning, and baking. Her goals are to help other people and make them smile.
Sonya Beecher
HygienistSoni’s interest in dental hygiene started when she was inspired by her hometown dental practice in Elmira. She earned her hygiene degree from SUNY Broome and has cared for patients with a strong focus on prevention, education, and compassionate, personalized care for over three decades.
After living in several states with her husband and high school sweetheart, Tom, Soni joined Lux Dental in 2021, first as a patient, then as a team member. She loves being part of the welcoming, family-focused culture and enjoys staying active, traveling, paddleboarding, crafting, trying new recipes, and volunteering at St. Mary’s church.
Melissa Ridley
Dental AssistantMel has been assisting for 4 years and has had experience in different dental specialties. She loves to travel and hang out with friends and family.
Brenda Contreras
Brenda grew up in Puerto Rico, where she earned her degree in Business Administration from Interamerican University. She later followed her passion for helping others into dentistry, earning her dental assistant certification with advanced certifications in chairside assisting, infection control, and radiation health and safety.
Brenda joined the Lux Dental team in 2024 and has since proven her talents for being proactive, organized, and attentive. She anticipates the doctor’s needs by preparing treatment rooms for patients and helping them feel relaxed and supported, even if they’re anxious at first. Outside of dentistry, Brenda loves to hike, read, be active, and spend time with her husband and kids.
